This folding screen is the result of a collaboration between upcycling atelier Algranti Lab, decorative painting trio Gouache and design studio MoLo Lab. Made from curved plywood, and clad in reclaimed iron, it was hand painted using mineral pigments over the metal’s natural oxidation. Inspired by 1920s furniture and reinterpreted through contemporary craft, the piece explores the poetic tension between strength and delicacy, at once austere and blooming.
