Learn or improve your stone carving skills

Chris Pellettieri offers customised one-on-one or small group introductions to his craft as stone carver. These sessions can be tailored to beginners or to those familiar with the craft and seeking to improve their skills. Taking inspiration from examples of ancient stone carvings, participants will get a chance to design a simple image and carve it into a small block of limestone. Through this experience, Chris aims to share why he believes humans have been obsessed with shaping stone for thousands of years. The experience takes place in New York, close to Times Square, and could also include visiting a building or a museum for inspiration prior to the hands-on workshop session. The length of the session is flexible, depending on the participants’ preferences.
