Murano glass beads in miniature

French artist Muriel Balensi specialises in Murano glass beadmaking, creating intricate miniature forms encapsulating arabesques, calligraphy and gold leaf. During the live demonstration at Homo Faber 2026, Muriel will create glass beads and micro-sculptures, presenting her contemporary interpretation of the traditional Murano mughetto necklace.
