UK-based artist Eshraq Alabrash practises architectural stone carving, using traditional hand tools to create geometric patterns rooted in Syrian architectural heritage. During the live demonstration, Eshraq will carve a geometric pattern into a Portuguese limestone panel entirely by hand. Visitors will see how the design gradually emerges through the V-cut technique, in which precise incisions transform a flat stone surface into a composition of lines, angles and relief.
