Pierre-Yves & Josephine: Decorative Painting

Decorative painter Pierre-Yves Morel based in Belgium & Belgian fellow Joséphine Poncelet

French-born decorative painter Pierre-Yves studied in Brussels, focusing on marbling, woodgraining and trompe-l’œil techniques, and worked as a set painter and on luxury residential projects before opening his atelier. Having taken part in apprenticeships himself, he appreciates the time and space they allow to develop a skillset and share specialised techniques.

Fellow Joséphine studied at Van Der Kelen Logelain in Brussels. Interested in pushing her painterly approach towards new forms of expression, and also in building connections and community within her craft, she is seeking to develop her artistic and professional skills with the aim of one day opening her own business.
