Security Notice 20261006-01

Last Updated: October 6, 2026

The Michelangelo Foundation and Homo Faber have been made aware of unauthorized fraudulent job offers circulating on WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, and other messaging platforms.

Scammers are illegally using the names "Homo Faber" and "Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity & Craftsmanship" to offer fake work-from-home positions (such as assembling hair clips, packaging bracelets, or craft assembly for per-piece compensation).

They may use fake pictures (AI-generated), company certificates, testimonies and other materials to appear legitimate.

Key Information & Official Clarification:

• We do not offer home-assembly or packing jobs.

• We never recruit via WhatsApp, Telegram, or personal social media accounts.

• We never ask for fees, personal financial details, or payments for materials.

All legitimate career opportunities and official communications from Homo Faber are exclusively published through our official channels.

Official Channels:

• Official Instagram / Facebook / tiktok: @homofaber / @homofaber / @homofaber

• Official Website: www.homofaber.com

• Official Emails: info@homofaber.com | info@news.homofaber.com

What to do if you are contacted:

1. Do not respond or share personal information, addresses, or banking details.

2. Do not make any payments for materials or registration.

3. Block and report the contact number on WhatsApp or Telegram.

4. If you have already shared sensitive financial details, please contact your bank and local law enforcement immediately.

What to do if you HAVE ALREADY sent money or shared sensitive data:

1. Contact your bank/payment provider immediately: Inform their fraud department of the unauthorized transaction and request an urgent recall/chargeback.

2. File a police report: Provide your local law enforcement with all transaction receipts, phone numbers, and chat screenshots.

3. Do NOT send any further funds: Scammers often demand additional "fees" or "taxes" promising to release payments. Do not pay them.

If you suspect you have received a fake offer or wish to verify a message, please contact us directly at info@homofaber.com.
