Discover the role of the furnace

Novotný Glass is placed in a rebuilt complex of buildings connecting the glassworks to a restaurant and a glass museum. The heart of the glass centre is a gas-fired four-pot furnace. Here master glass blowers work daily from early morning until late afternoon. The glass blown items are cooled down in annealing furnaces and during the night the furnace loaded with ready-made glass pellets, that meet the standards for marking crystal glass.
