Jewellery making course in Lisbon

Designer and jeweller Maria João Bahia hosts workshops to share the creative process that brings her unique pieces of jewellery to life. She explains some theory about jewellery and design, and introduces the techniques, noble metals, precious and non-precious stones she uses in her creations. Visitors are then guided into the workshop where they can participate in the entire process of producing a piece of jewellery, including weighing, calibrating, casting, laminating, annealing and polishing. Each participant will have the chance to transform a silver plate into a piece of jewellery.
