Commemoration of the First Mention of Samogitians in historical sources

This commemorative medal, which measures 60 mm in diameter, was made in a limited edition of 99 silver and 800 brass pieces. The Samogitians were first mentioned in 1219 in the Hypatian Codex, and they played an active role in creating the state of Lithuania.
