Samogitian steam-powered aircraft

In 1851, Aleksandras Griškevičius, a Lithuanian aviation theorist, constructor, and philosopher, printed the booklet titled A Samogitian's steam plane, in which he came up with the idea of a steam-driven propeller – an Archimedean screw and horizontal wings.
