A desert river

To produce this piece, a blue glass plate is layered in the glass kiln and melted to create thickness and texture on the surface through fusing. Once the texture is formed, lacquer is applied in layers and the surface is ground again to reveal a pattern. One part of the blue glass represents a river, while the white lacquer depicts desert sand.
