This poster was printed with two colours on Fedrigoni Usomano white paper, then signed and numbered by hand. Venice was build on solid bases, long wooden stilts, planted into the mud of the lagoon. Wood, sunk into mud, can stand for hundreds of years without rotting. This is the secret on which houses and great churches and buildings were built.
