Collana Sassanide and two rings

Part of Laberintho's research is inspired by ancient jewellery design. Some pieces are even made of original stones and elements that Davide Visentin and Marco Venier bought to make their creations. Here is a necklace composed of carnelian engraved stones of the Sasanian (aka Sassanid) and Parthian Persian Empire, 249 BC – 600 AD and contemporary 18 carat yellow gold beads. On the right, in close-up, is a swivel ring inspired by the Roman Celtic times with an original Greek-Roman coin from 350 BC. Towards the back is a contemporary spiral ring in yellow gold. This ring is designed and handcrafted to be flexible and mobile while worn.
