Waiting, Waiting for morning

This is a framed relief work that belongs to the Waiting series. The areas that resemble black pen drawings are made from a single type of thread embroidered in different ways to express different textures and shades. The contrast between the fluffy texture and the ultra-fine stripes gives the stem a rich expression. Petals covered in gold and coloured silver leaf overlap randomly, creating a sense of life with the plants floating in the air as if catching the movement of the wind.
