Invisible Cities coffee table

This sculptural coffee table was entirely handmade. The table top is made of white Carrara marble, while the table leg and upper decoration are made of birchwood and basswood and gilded with golden leaf. The wooden leg, that takes the shape of a city above the tabletop, is the main feature of the piece. One of its tiny houses has a door with a turquoise stone knob and is actually a box that can be used to store small objects.
