Histriones green

This earth-coloured vessel is part of Kris Campo's Histriones series. The vase seems to be constructed from an amalgamation of classical vases. Histriones combines patterns, balance and colour but also movement and scenery. Scenery not only to be understood as decoration, but to give meaning to the installation as a whole, in a same way that scenery in theatre sets the mood, content and interpretation of a play.
