Calum Cille ann an Alba

This is an illuminated manuscript folio on parchment depicting the life of Saint Columba in Scotland. It includes his run-in with the Loch Ness monster and his meeting with the Picts. The large Gaelic text reads 'Naomh Calum Cille'. The smaller distorted letters are the last Psalm Columba wrote before his death. It is based on the style of the Book of Kells.
