Female form

While this work is figurative, Iosifina did not aim for a realistic representation. She considers the female form as a symbol rather than a literal representation of an individual. Female characteristics such as strength, protection and completeness are qualities that she wants to express. Starting from a curvy body, Iosifina became increasingly interested in the composition and harmony of the volumes; the pose has become unrealistic to suit the composition of the form.
