Curve

This piece, part of Iosifina's Flow series, explores curves. She draws her inspiration for her stoneware sculptures from natural forms such as shells, as well as the movement of an embrace and the warmth that this action provides. Everything is to be found in the balance between opposites: the inner becomes outer, the concave becomes convex and the bright alternates with the dark. The coexistence of these opposites alludes to the complexity and harmony of nature itself.
