Fylde Coast

This lathe-turned vessel was inspired by features of the Fylde Coast in western Lancashire, UK. The pierced and carved surface of the vessel as well as its rugged texture, created using acrylic paste and matt black, evokes the beauty of the rocks and the extreme winds typical of the region.
