Drops

These black porcelain sculptures are part of Lea Mi Engholm's "Drops" series. The objects are made from liquid porcelain drops and combined while still malleable. The solid sculpture is then worked on to give it a smooth surface. Lea aims to capture the softness of clay through her works. She works from an overall idea of showing the immediate properties of clay and therefore usually uses no tools, only her hands and raw clay.
