Simone

Simone, a unique ceramic vase, is part of Delphine Lescuyer's My Mates collection, an ironic nod to the expression 'trophy wife'. Each vase of this collection is made from recycled ceramics. The vase is decorated to transform it into a feminist woman's face, here as a tribute to Simone de Beauvoir. Simone's face and hair are made of hand cut tiles of broken crockery and upcycled enamels, selected in a very sensitive approach to expression and details.
