Goutte

This elegant pair of drop-shaped earrings with a 24-karat gold texture was made as a piece of jewellery not only beautiful to look at, but also tempting to touch. Ingrid Schmidt originally studied textile design, so the aspect of textile textures and motifs to immortalise on the silver sheet with precious gold wire are always in her mind. This piece is made using the keum-boo technique, an ancient fusion technique from Korea.
