Tales from the Desert - rectangular earrings

This pair of earrings by Ingrid Schmidt, in rectangular format, display an arch motif, worked in silver and gold. Inspired by a trip to Inscription Canyon, Arizona, where the first drawings of the indigenous people can be found. These petroglyphs were created more than 8,000 years ago and bear witness to the creative power of our ancestors. Ingrid uses the Keum-boo technique, an ancient exciting fusion technique from Korea.
