This piece was a commission and is handcarved in Welsh slate. The client approached Zoe Wilson with an initial idea and a sample pattern they had seen. They worked together to develop it into a larger more complex design. She loved the sample pattern they suggested and very quickly ideas started flowing of how she could expand it and make it into a really striking design.
