Ombelico del mondo

This sculpture was created using a very complicated technique, through a long blowing process. Multicolour canes have been fused and twisted in order to create the hypnotic spiral that directs one's gaze towards the centre. The thin metal stand is specially designed to make the work appear as if it is floating.
