Plantlife: Puglia

This is a textile artwork which can be used as a wall-hanging or single bed quilt. A rich textured double-sided, black and white quilt. The imagery is inspired by plant forms in Puglia, Italy. The designs are created by stitch and fabric crayon drawing. Two layers of cloth are finely stitched, using a long-arm quilting machine and hand stitching, sandwiching a layer of cotton wadding. Washed to finish.
