This hand engraved and pierced sheet copper sculpture, featuring intersecting arcs, frames a sphere resting on a circular base. Referencing a sundial, the sculpture uses the sun’s shadow on the frame to let the viewer to calculate from the sphere’s position, just as the stars’ positions can be read through the piercings as they move.
