Long Legged Teapot, Swan

These teapots by Ömer Öner were created by assembling fragments of found objects, which were first moulded in plaster and then slip cast into clay replicas. Forming a new hybrid body, the discarded pieces, once ordinary and overlooked, gain a new presence that feels ceremonial and anthropomorphic. Rather than restoring function, the works focus on how meaning shifts through transformation.
