Exhibited in A RAINBOW OF FORMS

Synthetic hair, Building elements

These installations by Hiva Alizadeh were hand sewn from synthetic hair. The surfaces shift softly with the slightest touch, allowing the patterns to vibrate freely. The pieces connect ancient craft traditions with a modern material language to express the identity of the contemporary era. Untitled Graphic is inspired by the light rhythms and layered geometries of traditional Gabbeh textiles, while Untitled Sunset reflects on the sun as a symbol of life, renewal and spiritual continuity.
