This sculpture is from the Mbuyu series. Mbuyu means baobab in Swahili, and the structure is inspired by the baobab trees Dana Zvulun grew up around in Tanzania. The piece features an organic structure in black, made using the coiling technique with surface patterns added stroke by stroke.
