Wild Olive Root bowl
This squat, heavily textured bowl features a bulging form resembling an upside down root system or underground bulb. Brass rods join the rim where the wood split during the carving process. The finish is deliberately rough and tactile rather than the polished finish of some of Rodney Band’s other works.
