Where the Self Is Forming

Appearing as an unfinished vessel, this sculpture combines wheel throwing and handbuilding, with diamond shaped clay slabs joined along their edges. Unglazed, its shiny earthy tones come from the iron‑rich clay body reacting to atmospheric firing.
