In this Hawaiian quilt design, bright yellow hibiscus flowers and stems radiate outward in a symmetrical pattern from one central leaf on verdant green, using a reverse applique technique. Handstitching was used to create the details on the stamens and leaves, with a perle cotton yellow thread.
