©Kosomi StudioBorrowed Landscape: Incorporating the Exterior Landscape
This installation is made from a textile woven with Somisa, Somi Ko's hand spun hanji thread, and structured with translucent silk and eight layers of hanji. Drawing on chagyeong, the Korean architectural idea of bringing surrounding scenery into a built space, it frames shifting views while softening the boundary between inside and outside.
