These twin sculptures by Jaroslav Prošek comprise two forms, one carved from 6500-year-old subfossil oak, and the other from kiln-cast glass. Shaped as archetypal forms, the pieces resemble vessels that simultaneously protect and reveal. They embody a dialogue between two realms, earth and air, past and present.
