Aubergine

This is a hand raised, drop-shaped lidded vessal. The body of the piece rests on three small legs and is enamelled a mottled dark purple and blue colour. Thin lines of silver cloisonné dots descend from the top edge. The small conical silver lid has lines of spinel echoing the silver dots in the body and the lid’s finial is a dark dioptase. The hand sanded finish is high satin.
