This double spout vessel was handbuilt with coils. When the piece was at its leather-hard stage, Jonathan Yamakami used a ribbon tool to carve the surface, creating vertical lines. The vessel is made of two clay bodies made of dark stoneware and porcelain which are wedged together to create the marbling effect. The interior of the piece is glazed with a clear glaze.
