This is a capazo is a traditional Spanish woven basket, usually made from esparto grass, palm or wicker. Originally used for carrying goods or shopping, it can also be used as a fashion accessory. These baskets were formerly used in Extremadura as olive oil presses. Now hung up to be remembered, they evoke a time when they were in constant daily use.
