Life is Fragile

This sculpture by Ellen van der Woude was entirely hand built in porcelain, with every small element made individually and assembled into an intricate organic form. Symbolising the fragility of natural ecosystems, the piece reflects on the delicate equilibrium between humanity and nature, with biodiversity increasingly at risk.
