©Jaron JamesGhost Objects: Italian Tabernacle of Madonna & Child
This is a large intricately layered shrine made completely out of white paper. The paper tabernacle is a recreation of a lost artifact that is originally a gilded 3D piece with lots of details, such as the Madonna and child, small cherubs, ornaments, pillars and framed arches. The piece is made up of thousands of intricately cut paper details, layered, embossed, curved and sculpted to recreate all the intricate elements using only white paper.
