Into the wind

This miniature wall artwork portrays a face with flowing, wind swept hair. Created with a sewn lace technique, the contours of the lace are reinforced with metal wire that gives the piece its solid structure. The hair and the frame are crafted from hemp thread. The work is dyed with aniline dyes.
