An other than human silence – Sound resides in the stillness of the rocks

This artwork brings together layers of earth toned, warm coloured found plastic bags and threads. By changing the tension of the sewing machine to allow pointillist colour combinations from under the surface of the plastic to pull up and out, the image vibrates with colour. While the piece is abstract, it could resemble farmland, roads and mountains from above.
