This textile installation was created during Homo Faber Fellowship 2025/26 by textile sculptor Maria Pratas based in Portugal, and Mexican-Spanish fellow Carolina De la Parra Quintana. The sculptures are inspired by the forest as a place of regeneration, transformation and feminine energy, where growth is collective rather than individual. The organic, bodily forms evoke a relationship between the Earth and all that arises from it.
