Aiden’s Metamorphosis

This is a construction of unattached hanging lace shapes, which, when viewed from the front, make up the image of a torso and face. The piece is rendered in shades of green and aqua, with thin black threads dangling below weighted down with bobbins. Black tape on the gallery wall behind it offers the contrast needed to see the image.
