Los Petates

These two pieces from the Los Petates series are coloured in the natural shades of dried corn husk. The first is an open bag hand woven with a pulled warp technique, featuring a thin crocheted handle and hanging warp yarns. The second is a bag shaped like a box, hand woven and sewn into shape.
