Houndstooth table

This sculptural ceramic side table is created from wheel thrown elements. The base consists of six gourd-like forms that create the tripodal legs and the arms supporting the tabletop. The tabletop takes the form of a flattened torus. A reflective metallic glaze forms a melted grid pattern over a black base glaze.
