Shy afternoon

This is a sculptural porcelain vessel formed as a bear-like body resting on a black, stone-like base. The piece is crowned with a celadon cloud and a seated female figure riding a mythical creature. It is finished with underglaze painting, celadon glaze, overglaze enamel and gold luster.
