Mayflower II Shallop
The Mayflower shallop was a shallow-draft open boat carried aboard the Mayflower in 1620. Essential to the Pilgrims’ survival, it was used to explore the coastline, transport goods and fish. This historic reproduction, named for passenger Samuel Fuller, was designed by William Baker and built in 1957. It was later restored at Lowell’s Boat Shop before returning to Plymouth Patuxet Museums.
