14th century khachkar
This piece reinterprets a 14th century miniature khachkar, or Armenian cross stone, located on the island of San Lazzaro degli Armeni in Venice. The white porcelain recreates the stone’s natural hues, while the delicate needle engraving brings to life the refined elegance of the detailed tradition.
